FINGER LAKES BUILDING OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2025

SUBMISSION:  JANUARY 15TH – JUNE 1ST

The purpose of this program is to provide assistance to members of the Finger Lakes Building Officials Association, their spouses or their unmarried children.  The official shall be an active member of the Association.  Our ideals and beliefs are to further education and promote our areas of discipline.

The Finger Lakes Building Officials will award four academic scholarships to members of the Association, their immediate children or their spouses.  The member must be a current and active.  The scholarships granted are two (2) $500 and two (2) $250 .

The scholarships are awarded based on the content received on each application regarding completion of all forms, academic achievements, merit and personal characteristics.  Preference given to any applicants working towards careers in the fields of building and fire inspections, various trades of this industry and any related fields.

All applications must be complete and are awarded regardless of age, race, color, creed, sex or national origin.  Training programs and school programs are supported.  One scholarship award per year is allowed and previous award recipients are welcome to apply.
